Hi Michael,
Both 3D Serpentine and 3D Warps are plug-ins for After Effects.
You can keyframe the extrusion path for 3D Serpentine to create animated 3D paths.

Hi Michael,
The 3D Serpentine folder belongs in the After Effects Plug-ins folder. 3D Serpentine comes with an installer that will automatically locate the After Effects Plug-ins folder, and install the program into that folder. So, you should be able to run the installer and have it automatically install the plug-in for you.
Best,
Edward
