All software is sold subject to your agreement with the Zaxwerks Software License Agreement.
Zaxwerks Inc. accepts no responsibility for pirated software, and does not give technical support to owners of pirated software.
Users of pirated software should know that often times pirated software contains problems that can cause severe hard drive and system failure. Using pirated software is very risky and against the law. Don't do it.
All Zaxwerks software requires an Authorization Code to work. Without an Authorization Code the software runs in Demo Mode and puts a watermark on the final rendered image. Even if you purchased the software and downloaded it, it will only run in Demo Mode until you enter an Authorization Code.
There are two types of Authorization Codes: Temporary and Permanent. Temporary Authorization Codes are the only codes sent by email for new purchases. They work for 30 days. Be sure you don't enter the Temporary Code until you have followed the installation instructions exactly. You can only enter a Temporary Code once, so if the software has to be reinstalled you'll need to wait until you receive your Permanent Code to run it.
Permanent Authorization Codes are only sent by postal mail (for Download Only purchases) or included in your box when the hardcopy is shipped to you. You must give a valid mailing address even when requesting the Download Only option, otherwise your Permanent Authorization Code cannot be mailed to you.
Return & Refund Policy
What can be returned?
You may only return products purchased directly from Zaxwerks Inc., or the Zaxwerks Online Store. Returns will be accepted only when the following conditions have been met:
- The return is requested within 30 days of receiving the product.
Zaxwerks Inc. does not accept returns for the following products, regardless of where they were purchased:
- Not-For-Resale (NFR), pirated, bundled, tryout or free-of-charge products.
To return a product
To return a product you must do all of the following:
Orders usually ship within 24 hours. Many times orders placed before 2 PM Pacific time will ship the same day. If you are in great need you can place your order and then call Customer Service at 626-309-9102 to receive a temporary authorization code. This will enable you to get up and running within the shortest possible amount of time. However, please wait 30 minutes before calling otherwise your order will not be to the processing department yet.
During checkout you can choose between having the hardcopy of the software sent to you, or using the Download Only option. If you choose Download Only you will not be charged for shipping. If you choose to have the hardcopy of the software sent to you, you will still be able to download the software upon completing the checkout process.

Collection of personal information
As a visitor to this Site, you can engage in many activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as placing orders or downloading software, Zaxwerks may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, Zaxwerks may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address (including postal code), e-mail address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and other personal information. When ordering products on the Site, you will be asked to provide a credit card number. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.
When you submit personal information to Zaxwerks Inc. through the Site, you understand and agree that this information may be transferred and stored across national boundaries.
How your personal information is used
Zaxwerks collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. When you register a product, for example, the information is used to register your rights, if any, to technical support or other benefits that may be made available to registered users. As another example, if you enter a contest, information is collected to qualify the entry and to contact you regarding the contest or prize awards. Your personal information is also used to track customer preferences and keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of Zaxwerks.
There are other instances in which Zaxwerks may divulge your personal information, such as where required by law, regulation, or litigation. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure should be made for reasons of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
Protection of your personal information
The personal information that you provide in connection with registering yourself as a user of Zaxwerks products or services, testing a demonstration version of Zaxwerks products, or registering a Zaxwerks product is classified as Registration Information. Registration Information is only available to authorized Zaxwerks Inc. employees or contractors and are not publicly distributed.
Please note that any information you post to a public bulletin board or chat room, such as the Zaxwerks User Forum, is available to all persons accessing that location. The Zaxwerks User Forum is hosted by CreativeCow.net which has its own privacy policies which you should read before participating on that forum.
