Help Center - Installation 6

On Windows Vista/Windows 7, ProAnimator crashes every time it goes into the Set-up screen.

You are running into an error in the "Intel SATA RAID Disk Controller driver".

The following controllers (drivers) seem to be the problem:
Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA storage controllers - 270F ( ver 8.2.0.1008 - 15/9/06)
Intel 82801HR/HH/HO SATA RAID Controller
Intel 82801GBM Sata AHCI controller - ver 6.2.1.1002 - 31/10/06

You can see more info about the problem here:

Some of the symptoms that you are having this driver issue is if your computer takes a while to process media files on Picture Viewer, Quicktime, checking After Effects presets in Adobe Bridge, and so forth.

Check your hardware settings and downloading the newest drivers should resolve the issue. You can do this by going to the Control Panel -> Systems -> Hardware -> Device Manager, and checking your Controllers. Once you find your controller driver, double click the driver, go to the "Driver" tab, and click "Update Driver".

This will increase your rendering speed and prevent ProAnimator from crashing.
