Andrew Devis has gone through the new ProAnimator version 5 interface, and taken the time to create four new comprehensive tutorials that will cover the basic controls of ProAnimator, and how to create your very first animation.
Andrew goes through the controls from a user’s point of view, and goes in depth about the whole process of creating an animation.
Topics discussed:
- Creating 3D Text.
- Creating and customizing 3D Primitives.
- Making Parametric Shapes and adjusting the settings.
- Applying materials, assigning materials to different sides of an object.
- Applying Object Animation presets.
- Editing Poses and Transitions.
- Setting up lighting with Lighting presets.

Wonderful tutorials. They really allow me to understand and use all the myriads of features.
Q: Can ProAnimator 5 be used on a MAC dual 2 PowerPC running OSX10.5.8 as a stand alone and upgrade the ProAnimator App 4.5.0? Thanks.
Hi Jim,
ProAnimator 5 only works on Intel Macs. So, unfortunately, you will not be able to use it on a PowerPC machine.
If you have an Intel Mac machine, or a Windows system, you can upgrade your ProAnimator 4.5 App to version 5.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Edward
Dear my friend
can you help me for material 3d PorAnimator ?
How do download preset?
roth
Hi Roth,
If the presets are not loading up for you, go to the “Documents (My Documents) folder, and trash the “ProAnimator” folder. When re-launching the program, the swatches will be reset.
If you’re still having issues, please let me know.
Best,
Edward
